How to Create a New Receive Task

The Receive Task serves the umbrella tasks for three subtasks: Offloading, Pallet Setup and SN Scan. This article introduces how to create and execute a new receive task.

How to Create New Receive Tasks on Web

There are two path to create the new receive tasks, this section introduces the manual method. If you want to generate a receive task when creating entry, please refer to "How to Create a New Entry" section on Entry Management (opens in a new tab).

1. Navigate to the Inbound > Receipt, select the target entry and click Create Receive Task button at the upper right corner.

2. Choose an assignee to execute the task, then click Create Receive Task to process to next step.

3. Click on OK button on the pop-up window.

After creating the task successfully, the Task ID will be added under the Receive Task option of the entry as shown.

4. Click the Task ID, it will display the task details. If you want to update anything, please modify the specific parameters. If no, please waiting for the worker completing the task, you can also view the progress on the details page.

How to Execute Receive Task on Mobile App

After the driver complete check in, the assignee will receive the task on their mobile app. There are three sub tasks that they need to execute, please follow the relevant operations to complete the process on the mobile app.

Navigate to Tasks > Receive Task > New, tap the task then tap Start Receiving to process the receive task.

For receives, there are two step: offload and pallet setup. Please refer to the following sections to process the task.

Offload

1. Go to Offload, setup Offload Type, Equipment Type and Ship method. Please add materials as needed.
2. Click Take Photos to take and upload photos according to the policy.
3. Click CLOSE STEP to complete offloading sub task.

Pallet Setup

1. After offloading the items, please start pallet setup by clicking Pallet Setup.
2. Click Work tab then enter or scan the location, tap + ADD PRODUCT to select or scan product and fill out the details, then tap Add Product to save the product data.
3. Complete all configurations and tap CLOSE STEP to finish it.
4. Go back to Task page and tap CLOSE TASK to close the receive task.
