Carrier Integration


Item DI serves as a data integration platform for both internal and external transmissions, connecting seamlessly with various systems, including sales channels and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). It now also supports streamlined carrier integration for enhanced shipping processes.

Connecting a Carrier to item DI

FedEX

To integrate FedEx with item DI:

  1. Navigate to Merchants, select the desired merchant, and go to the Sales Channels section.
  2. In the Live Channels section, choose Carrier.
  3. Click the + New Channel button. A list of available channels will appear.
  4. Select the Carrier category and choose the desired carrier service from the list, including:
  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • DHLE
  • DHL
  • USPS
  1. A pop-up window will appear for configuring the carrier (using FedEx as an example).
  2. Enter the Channel Name. The Account Type will default to Customer Account.
  3. Select the API Protocol Type: either WebService or RestAPI.
  4. Enter your Account Number, API Client ID, and API Client Password.
  5. Click Test Connection to verify the integration.
  6. If the "Connection Successful" message appears, click Submit. The Fed-EX carrier will be connected by default.

Upon successfully connecting FedEx (or other carriers), the carrier account information will automatically sync with the system.
