Parking Lots

Parking Lots

Navigate to the Parking Lots button at the bottom of the page to access the Parking Lots interface. You can either initiate adding a parking lot the first time you use the Parking EZ app or add additional parking lots later as needed.

  • Enter the Parking Lots interface.
  • If you have already added the parking lots, the interface will display the name of each parking lot, its address, the total number of parking spots, available spots, and the rate.

Note: Tap the Map button to switch the display mode. You can always toggle between the Map and List display modes by tapping the respective buttons.

To Add a Parking Lot

  1. Tap the + button in the top right corner of the page.
  2. You will be directed to the Create Parking Lot page.

  1. Input the required information.
  • Status: Select the parking lot's status from the following options: Open, Under Maintenance, Full and Closed.

  • Location: Enter the basic details for the parking lot, including: Name, Address, City, Zip Code, State, and Phone number.
  • Preferences: Provide the information that needs to be displayed to the customers, including the number of parking spots and the rates for each each tier.

Note: Check the box next to each rate tier to expand the input fields. Then, enter the hourly, daily, weekly and monthly rates.

Tips:

  • You can upload high-quality images, such as photos of the parking lot, to give customers a better understanding of the facility.
  • If needed, you can also upload your customized Terms of Service for the parking lot, ensuring all processes align with your policies and applicable local regulations.
  1. Once all the information above is entered, tap the Create button. Your parking lot will be successfully added.

To Edit a Parking Lot

You can edit an existing parking lot at any time.

  1. To edit a parking lot, tap the parking lot you wish to edit on the Parking Lots page.
  2. You will be directed to the Edit Parking Lot interface.

  1. Make the necessary changes to the information that needs to be updated.
  2. Tap the Update button.
  3. You will be returned to the Parking Lots page, and a notification will appear confirming that the update has been successfully saved.

QR Code

The QR code is one of the key features of the Parking EZ app, allowing you to easily share your parking lot details with customers for reservations. You can either print or download the QR code for your parking lot for the customers to scan.

How to Access the QR Code

To access the QR code:

  1. Tap the QR code icon under each listed parking lot on the Parking Lots interface.
  2. Alternatively, tap a listed parking lot, and then tap the QR code icon in the top-right corner of the Edit Parking Lot page.
  3. The Generate QR option panel will appear at the lower part of the page.

From here, you can choose to Print the QR code with a preset template or Download it without a template. Refer to the images below for more details.

Printing the QR Code with a Preset Template

  1. Tap the Print option to access the interface below. The QR code with the parking lot name will be displayed, ready to print.

  1. Tap the Print Signs button to access the Select printer interface.

  1. Tap the arrow at the top center of the page to expand the menu. Here, you can configure the printing settings, including:
  • Number of copies
  • Paper size
  • Color
  • Orientation (portrait or landscape)
  • Double-sided printing
  • Page range

  1. Tap the arrow in the top-right corner of the page to choose either:
  • Select Printer to choose a connected printer, or
  • Save as PDF to save the QR code with template as a PDF file.

Saving the QR code as a PDF

  • To save the QR code as a PDF, tap Save as PDF.
  • A round yellow button with a download symbol and the text "PDF" will appear.
  • Tap the button to download the QR code as a PDF file.

Printing the QR Code

  • To print the QR code, select a connected printer from the list or tap All printers ... to set up a printer.
  • The interface shown in the image below will appear. Tap the round yellow button with the printer icon to print the QR code.

Downloading the QR Code without a Template

  1. Tap the Download option to access the interface below.

  1. Tap the Download Signs button to automatically download the QR code without any template.
  2. A notification will appear to confirm that the QR code has been successfully downloaded.
