Hold Order Rules
Hold Order Rules allow you to automatically place orders on hold when predefined conditions are met. This helps prevent incorrect, risky, or premature fulfillment without requiring manual intervention. You can configure hold order rules based on channel source, warehouse, address, SKU, or other predefined tags, define the conditions that temporarily stop an order from being processed or sent to WMS.
Scenarios
Use this feature when orders should be systematically paused based on predictable conditions, including:
- Orders from specific sales channels that require additional review
- Shipments to high-risk or restricted delivery addresses
- Orders containing pre-release, restricted, or high-value SKUs
- Temporary operational holds during promotions, audits, or warehouse issues
If you only need to pause one or two orders in exceptional cases, use Manual Hold Order instead.
