WMS Configuration

By default, each merchant can connect to only one WMS system at a time. When you connect Item WMS or UNIS Wise under a merchant, the system will automatically enable data syncs for key operations, including:

Schedule TasksDescription
Download Purchase OrderSync purchase orders from OMS and tracks progress in syncing with WMS.
Receipt (RC)Pull receipts in WMS and sync this data back to DI.
Delivery Note (DN)Sync purchase orders from OMS and tracks progress in syncing with WMS.
Delivery Confirmation (DC)Pull delivery confirmations in WMS and sync this data back to DI.
Upload InventoryUpdate inventory levels in WMS, and ensures sync with OMS.
Sync WarehouseSync warehouse (facility) updates in WMS with DI.

The default syncing interval for the above tasks is 10 minutes, but you can customize these settings as needed.

Editing WMS Default Setting

WMS settings

To Edit the WMS data syncs settings:

  1. Navigate to Merchants, select the desired merchant and go to Settings.
  2. Under the WMS category, select the WMS system from the list (in this example, item WMS).
  3. Click the three-dot icon next to the selected WMS and choose Edit.
  4. Adjust the sync intervals for each setting by selecting from the drop-down list, options include 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 1 day:
  • Download Purchase Orders
    • Allow order cancellation: Define whether canceled Purchase Orders are to be synced.
  • Receipts
  • Delivery Notes
  • Delivery Confirmations
  • Upload Inventory
  • Sync Warehouse
  1. After setting the desired intervals, click Save to apply the changes.

Based on the interval you configure (e.g., 10 minutes), Item DI will automatically run periodic tasks to sync data between OMS, WMS, and third-party channels, ensuring real-time data accuracy across systems.

Disable/Enable WMS

To disable/enable the connected warehouse system, click the three-dot icon next to the selected WMS and choose Disable/Enable. After disabling, the order dispatching and all warehouse-related features will no longer be accessible.
