Primary Account Management

On Pass System, My Profile module supports manage basic account information, login method and connected applications, this article will guide you how to modify theses settings.

Basic Account Information Management

If you want to update the username or avatar, please refer the following steps to operate.

1. Go to My Profile > three dots option, then click Edit User.

2. Fill in the First Name, Last Name you want to update. Then click Update to save the information.

3. If you want to update the account’s avatar, please click Update Picture to drag or select a picture to upload.

4. Click Update to save the change.

• Change Email Address
  Sometimes the original email address which registered the account has no long used, please refer the following paths to change the email address.

1. My Profile > three dots option, click Change Email Address.

2. Click Okay on the popup window and then click link in your email to continue.

3. Fill in the new email address you want to use for the account. Then click Update to save this information.

4. After updating successfully, there is a prompt window as shown.

• Change Password
  Due to security, some users will change their password quarterly or per half-year. This section will guide you how to change the password.

1. Navigate to downward symbol at the upper right corner and then click Change Password.

2. Fill in the new password and click Save to update the information.

Note: If you want to modify the company information, please go to my.item.com (opens in a new tab) to update it.

Login Options Management

Pass supports third-party account login and SSO solutions to convenient users. This section introduces the relevant operations.

Login Options Management

Item Pass not only supports login via username&password, but also supports login through media accounts such as Google. Once the media account is bound to Item Pass account, it can be used for login to all Item applications. Take Google account as an example, the following steps are for reference:

1. Go to My Profile, navigate to My Logins then click + Add Login Options.

2. Click the Google icon to add the Google account.

3. Select your Google account to bind, then click Continue to next step.

4. After binding successfully, Google account will be shown under My Logins option.

If you don’t want use google login anymore and want to delete this method, please click three dots button and click Revoke to remove the login option. The login option will be removed after successful revoking.

Connected Applications Management

Pass integration SSO solution that supports to logging into various Item Applications. User can switch the application interfaces by simply clicking the icon.
Navigate to Connected Applications > Item Applications, it will show all Item applications which are connected to your account.

• For primary user and admin user (regular user is set as admin), they have all applications’ permission.
• For regular users, they only have partial applications’ permission, depending on the permission settings by their primary user or admin user within their company.

How to Connect to a New Third-Party Application

If you want to connected some other third-party applications, please refer to the following operations to create a new application. This article introduces how to connect to an new application on Pass.

1. Navigate to My Profile > Connected Applications > Third Party Applications, it will show all Item applications which are connected to your account.

2. Click + Add New.

3. Fill in the corresponding information, then click Save to complete adding a new application.

After saving the application’s information, Item Pass will obtain the required parameters and integrate with the third-party application via our Public API. Then the users can login and manage the application through Item Pass.

The application logo will be displayed under the section. If you want to update some information related to the connected third-party application, please click three dots button to edit it.

4. Click Save to complete editing.
