This article introduces how to manage the merchant’s product on Ship system.

How to Add a New Single Product

1. Navigate to Products, it will display the all products added expect archived products and combo products.

   The product list will be sorted by Master SKU, Name or Created time. It support to modify the sort method by click Sort.

2. Click + Add New, there are three methods to add the new products: Single Product, Bulk Import and Import From Channel.

   • Option 1: Single Product
     It supports to manually add a new single product to your store.
     A. Fill in the required information after selecting Single Product. B. Click Confirm to complete the adding process.

   • Option 2: Bulk Import
     It supports to add bulk items to your store by uploading the template documents with the product details.
     A. Download the template by click Download Template after selecting Bulk Import. B. Complete the form with the required information. Please refer to the form above for detailed parameter description. C. Drag the template file here and click Confirm to complete the process.

   • Option 3: Import From Channel
     It supports to import the product details from the channel if you have any connected channel to your PIM.
     A. Click Import From Channel, it will show all the connected channels that you have. B. Select one of your connected channels, and it will show all the products on this channel. Select the products you need and import it through clicking Import from Channel.

You can also switch the channel by clicking the corresponding tabs. Then to select the product which you want to import.

How to Manage the Single Product

It supports editing the product information one by one or in bulk, this section introduces some methods to modify the product information.

Manually

1. Navigate to Product > Single Products list, click the Master SKU to skip to product details page.

2. Click Edit at the right-bottom corner then to update the information you want.

3. Click Confirm button to save the information updated.

Bulk Edit

If you want to edit several products’ information, it is recommended to edit the information in bulk to save your time. Here are two methods below for the reference.

Edit the information on CSV file

1. Please select the products you want to modify, then click Export to download the CSV file.

2. Update the information on the file, then click + Add New > Bulk Import to import the file you created. Once the upload is successful, please click Confirm and then the products would update.

If you select one of the product on the list, you will see there are some action buttons at the top row. The following section introduce the action buttons one by one.

Action 1: Archive

If there are some products which you are not going to use them, please select the corresponding products then click Archive button which is marked as 1 in the red box above. After selecting Archived, the products will not display under the Single Product. The product will not be used for mapping or syncing once it is archived. If you want to check or activate the archived product, please skip to PIM then go to Products > Archived, select the product and click Activate.

Action 2: Bulk Edit

It supports to edit the product in bulk on the same page, so that you don’t need to open the product details page one by one.

1. Please check one of the product then click Bulk Edit button which is marked as 2 in the red box above, then you can modify the product information per page.
2. Click Save to complete process.
   If you want to show more products on one page, please click the downward to select the product amount you want to show once.

Action 3: Make Combo

For some sale activities, it might make some new combo products to prompt. Item Ship also supports to make the combo products from the existing products to meet some sale channel’s requirements.

1. Select the products then click Make Combo button which is marked as 3 in the red box above.
   
2. Fill in the required information, and then click Add Item at the corner to complete making combo item.

Action 4: Convert

If you just want to convert the dimension metric or weight metric for some products, please click the one of the action buttons which is marked as 4 in the red box above. For example, you want to unify the dimension metric to inch, please select the products then click Convert to Inch(IN) button.
After converting successfully, the unit will be changed correspondingly.
