Equipment Validation

Currently, equipment validation is for container-chassis matching. This feature ensures compatibility between container’s size & type and chassis’s size & type within the drayage system. This functionality verifies that the assigned chassis matches the container specifications, reducing operational errors, enhancing safety, and improving overall transportation efficiency.

This article explains the concept and the related operations.

1. Go to Settings > Equipment > Equipment Validations, enable Use chassis mapping validation via this button. The system will verifies whether the container specification matches chassis’s specifications on the load, after enabling this validation feature.
2. Click + Add Validations to add the new mappings, setup the relevant parameters. The container selection allows only one value, while multiple values are supported for the chassis. For example, the container is set to 40’ & TK, then mapping it to chassis type such as 40’ or 45’ & Standard or Combo.
3. Click Save changes button to save the validation. Please repeat the Step 2 and Step 3 if you want to add multiple validations.

If you want to delete a specific validation, please confirm the target one then click the delete button > Save changes.
