How to Execute Order Pick Task

This article explains how to use the Apple Vision Pro to complete an order pick task in a warehouse environment via the WMS App. With Vision Pro, workers can efficiently perform picking tasks hand-free, navigating through essential steps using combination of visual and audio prompts.

Preconditions

1. WMS Application: please make sure that you have downloaded and installed the app on the Vision Pro.
2. User Badge: please login to Item Pass to generate the badge and print it for login. For more details, please refer to this article.
3. Finger Scanner.
4. Products with SKU Barcode.
5. Tote Cart

Step

After preparing the data above, please follow the steps below to complete the process.

1. Login to WMS App via scanning your badge, the default main page is Search Page.
2. Go to Pick Task page via scanning order QR code.
3. Click Start Picking to start the pick process.
4. Tap the input box then tap Confirm button to scan the Tote ID, the Vision Pro will prompt voice “scan Tote ID” when you on this page.
5. After the Tote ID has been verified, please scan Location ID. It will also prompt voice “scan location” when on the scanning page.
6. Here are two ways to collect Pallet ID , Item and quantity. One is manual adding, another is automatic adding.

• Manual Adding
  It requires the worker to scan the relevant data manually.

  a. Scan the Pallet ID.
  b. Scan the Item which is with the SKU barcode, then enter the item quantity to pick.
  c. Click Submit to save the date.

• Automatic Adding
  The systems will automatically confirm Pallet ID, Item and quantity based on the recommend rule.

  a. Tap the Done button on the product popup window then it will also automatically submit these data.
  b. Please clic Quick Pick to realize automatic adding. When you on this page, Vision Pro will prompt voice “Press quick pick button if item scanning is not require.”

7. If this task requires to pick any other items after clicking submit, the system will prompt “Pick Success” and Vision Pro will also prompt voice “pick success”.
8. If all items have been picked, the system will prompt “Picking is completed” and it will return back to Search page. Also the Vision Pro will prompt voice “picking is completed”.
