Hold Order Rules

To automatically hold orders based on channel source, warehouse, address, SKU, or other predefined tags, define the conditions that temporarily stop an order from being processed or sent to WMS.

To configure hold order rules:

  1. Go to Automation > Hold Order Rules.

  2. Click + Add New Rule.

  3. In the Basic Information section:

    • Rule Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., High-Risk Address Hold).
    • Priority: Assign a numerical value; lower numbers have higher priority.
    • Status: Choose Enable to activate the rule immediately.
  4. In the Hold Settings section:

    • Hold Mode: Select Permanent to hold orders indefinitely, or Date Range to hold within a specified time window.
  5. In the Trigger Conditions section, define when the rule applies:

    • Order Source: Select one or multiple sales channels.
    • Warehouse: Choose the warehouses affected by this rule.
    • Delivery Address: Click Add Address Condition and choose Match Any (OR) or Match All (AND) for multiple conditions.
    • SKU Conditions: Search for specific SKUs to apply the hold rule.
    • Order Tags: Select tags or enter new ones (for Shopify orders only).
  6. (Optional) Under Notification, configure alert methods:

    • Email: Select a user or team to notify when the rule is triggered.
    • Webhook: Enter a webhook URL to send automated notifications to external systems.
  7. Click Save to confirm and apply the rule.
