Warehouse Service Area

You can enable the Assign warehouse by ZIP Code rule under Sales Order Routing, the system uses these ZIP ranges to automatically assign orders to the most appropriate warehouse based on the customer’s shipping address.

Use this feature to ensure orders are fulfilled from the nearest or designated warehouse according to your service area planning.

Adding Zipcode Range

1. Go to Inventory > Warehouse Service Area (ZIP).
2. Click Add ZIP Range.
3. Select the Warehouse.
4. Enter the Start ZIP Code and End ZIP Code to define the range.
5. Click Confirm to save.
6. Repeat for additional warehouses as needed.

Note: ZIP ranges only take effect if Assign warehouse by ZIP Code is turned on under Sales Order Routing.

Routing Logic Integration

When Assign warehouse by ZIP Code is enabled in Sales Order Routing:

• The system first checks whether the order’s shipping ZIP falls within a defined range.
• If true, the order is routed to that warehouse.
• If not, the system continues with the next routing rule in priority order:
  • Country or Market matching
  • Closest warehouse by distance
  • Highest-ranking warehouse (if no other matches)
