Documents Upload
To build and maintain a structured enterprise Knowledge Base, users can upload relevant documents using two available methods: Manual Upload and AI-Assisted Upload.
Both methods help organize documents based on contributor and metadata details, enabling accurate indexing and retrieval.
Manual Upload
-
Click Upload Document, choose Manual Form Filling method to begin the manual process.
-
Fill in the contributor’s details, including Contributor Name, Role and more. This helps track documents sources and maintain accountability.
-
Click Next to upload the file and provide the following metadata. These fields ensure that the document can be accurately indexed for use in downstream AI querying and integration with agents.
-
Company/Department: The business entity or organization to which the document belongs.
-
Process: The specific business process the document is related to.
-
-
Click Add to Batch List to continue. If any file missing, you can Add File to this batch.
-
Finally, Batch Submit to complete.
AI-Assisted Upload
To streamline the document onboarding process, the Knowledge Base also supports AI-assisted upload. This intelligent interaction improves data quality and simplifies the document contribution process for both technical and non-technical users.
-
Go to Upload Document > AI-Assisted Form Filling to start.
-
Simply drag and drop or select the file to be added to the Knowledge Base.
-
Once uploaded, the system's AI analyzes the document content and intelligently suggests appropriate values for metadata. This eliminates the need for users to manually interpret or categorize each document.
-
During the upload process, users can interact with the AI assistant. For example, ask the AI to clarify the purpose or meaning of each field. Or get suggestions or review AI-detected field values before final submission.
-
Once all fields are confirmed, users can simply issue a command like
Add to Batch List and Submit
to instruct the AI to complete the upload and indexing process.
